Pre-Alert Settings
This screen allows you to specify the default settings for
PRE-alerts.
Pre-alerts are alerts that trigger at some user-defined period of time BEFORE
the main alert time.
Default Pre-Alert Action:
- Sound Only
- This will cause the Alert to just play the default or custom sound you
specify when it is triggered. However, if the phone is placed in the "Silent"
or "Meeting" profile, the alert will then just vibrate.
- Force Only
- This will cause the Alert to play the alerts sound file even if the phone is
placed in the "Silent" or "Meeting" profile. This mode is useful as an alarm
clock to wake up to in the morning, even when you phone was set to silent mode
so calls will not wake you.
- Vibrate Then Sound,
Vibrate Then Vib+Sound, Vibrate And Sound, Vibrate Only - will do
just what it says (vibrate and/or play the alerts sound file unless the phone
is placed in the "Silent" or "Meeting" profile, then the alert will then just
vibrate)
- Loop Count
- This specified how many times the phone will vibrate and/or play the sound
file when the alert is triggered.
Default Pre-Alert Sound:
- Default Sound
- This will play the sound file that you specified in the "Default Alert
Settings" in the program Options.
- System, Low, Med,
High, Increasing Volume - Will specify the volume that you want the
sound file to be played when the alert is triggered.
Default Pre-Alert Snooze - Specifies what the default snooze setting will be
when a pre-alert is triggered. You can still manually specify a different snooze
time at the time an alert is triggered by using the left and right arrow keys in
the Alert pop-up.
Auto-Snooze/Dismiss - Specifies what should happen if a Pre-Alert is left
unacknowledged:
- Disable/Do Nothing - will do nothing
(the pre-alert will remain displayed until manually snoozed or dismissed)
- Auto-Snooze Pre-Alert - will
automatically snooze the pre-alert using the above default snooze time.
- Auto-Dismiss Pre-Alert - will
automatically dismiss the pre-alert. (The main alert will still trigger at
it's scheduled time)
