"John Cody's Alerts has quickly become an essential app for my smartphone.  It is easy to use, has a nice simple interface, and is reliable.  It is quick to access, and the extra shortcuts to create new alerts make using the app really quick & easy.  It contains features that make it stand out from other alarm/reminder apps, such as the ability to set actions on alerts such as sending an sms message, and an excellent addition whereby it creates an outlook entry for each alert, which then appears on the homescreen in the calendar plugin, adding at-a-glance functionality without installing any extra plugins.  An all round thumbs up for this excellent new app!"

"I couldn't love this product any more than I do. It does all one could expect from a program of this type or an alarm program. I can set it to change my profile from silent to normal, give me annual advance reminders for my wife and children's birthdays/anniversaries so I don't forget to plan/purchase presents, a weekly reminder of my meeting with my boss, my daily morning alarm with my favorite song, my reminder for me to go get my allergy shots on Friday's, etc. It also features count down alarms with the same features, and event based alarms! The program controls are easy to use and intuitive. It uses pop up calendars and has almost no learning curve at all. It creates shadow appointments in Outlook that sync with my desktop Outlook program. Almost any option you can imagine is customizable - so, I can choose which alerts I want outlook entries for. It has all the features of an alarm program (snooze, select music/sound, etc.) I use this program more than any other program in my phone. This program alone made the added expense of purchasing a Smartphone worthwhile. Customer service it top notch. You can learn almost anything about the program, future designs, bug report/repair, etc. from the forum and the developer is on the forum regularly. He has many times in the past made specific changes to the program at the request of a single user. I can't praise this program enough. It also happens to be relatively small and inexpensive. No, I don't work for him. I just love the program."

"Great utility! Tons of features, including the ability to auto reboot your phone at specific times, switch profiles, and send automated SMS messages. Integrates nicely into the stock calendar app, giving you the option of displaying upcoming alerts on the homescreen without causing too much screen-clutter. As a bonus, the customer support for this is amazing! Fast response time, and the author was very helpful in honoring my requests. I cannot say enough about how well John Cody supports his software."

"This has to be in my opinion, the best program available for smartphones. I was greatly disappointed with the limp, user unfriendly alarm on my Orange SPV C550 and tried many programs looking for a multifunctional alarm clock. I found it!! Set multiple alarms, assign your own sounds, reboot, power off, change profile ... the list goes on. If you have a smart phone this is a must. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed. Superb back up and support from the developer too with his own forum pages on the 'web. An absolute MUST!!"

"It took me about an 30 minutes to figure out all of this programs functionality, but once I did, I realized that it delivers some of the basic capabilities that are missing from WM-5. The first two I set up are:

a) Creating an alert that automatically resets your phone at a given time every day.

b) Automatically switching profiles at night to eliminate e mail or other notifications

In my opinion, this is a great program and definitely worth a trial download. I would highly recommend it."
