How to Use:

• You can launch John Cody's SmartTIP on your Smartphone by clicking the "Programs" button from the Home Screen, then press the digit key associated with "More...", then the key associated with the shortcut "SmartTIP".

NOTE: Each time SmartTIP is started, it defaults to "1" person and a "15" percent tip. You can press the "Clear" button to return to these defaults at any time.

• Enter the Bill/Check amount (including tax) in the top edit box using the digits keys of your Smartphone.

NOTE: This edit box uses a fixed-decimal point for fast and easy entry of the amount - you do not need to press a decimal point key when entering an amount. For example, to enter the amount "$134.75", just press the keys "13475", the decimal point will be automatically placed in the field. If you make a mistake, simply press the "back" key (adjacent to the home key) to erase the last digit entered.

• After you entered the Bill Amount, press the "down" key of the joypad to move focus to the "# of People" listbox. The border of the listbox will thicken to signify it has the focus for data entry. Use the right or left keys of the joypad to increment or decrement (respectively) the number of people in your party. This will allow SmartTIP to accurately figure out the "cost per person" for the bill.
   
• Next, press the down button of the joypad to move the input focus to the "Tip %" listbox. Then, as with the above "people count" listbox, you can use the right and left keys of the joypad control to increment or decrement the tip percentage you want to add to the bill amount.
   
• That's it!
